Artist Bio: Charles Davis is a graduate of the University of Louisville Speed Scientific School with an A.S. degree in Applied Science. He has worked as a CNC programmer for Raytheon Corporation and as a technical support specialist for a major CAD/CAM company. He operated his own prototype machine shop programing and operating CNC machines to make parts including heart valves, microwave components, aerospace parts, composite molds and consumer prototypes. For the past 20 years, Mr. Davis has taught CAD/CAM software to machinists at all skill levels. He has taught at San Diego City College, the U.S. Navy, and businesses ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to small job shops. |
